Willy Pedersen founded 'In-stof' in 1973 as a business which primarily sold cloth and corporate clothing. Willy's son Mads joined the company in 1995 and started the Matex product line, initially as special production of corporate clothing. The In-stof name is no longer in use and the company no longer sells cloth from the roll. The modern Matex sells clothing and promotional articles - two product ranges which naturally complement each other. The Matex name has become associated with the entire spectrum of promotional articles and high quality clothing, which we supply for corporate branding and image.
The company today.Matex is a supplier of promotional articles and clothing based in Randers, Denmark, and with a sales office in Hildesheim, Germany. We have a total of 25 employees - all with extensive experience and knowledge of our industry. We export to a large number of countries in Scandinavia and the rest of Europe, and enjoy excellent, long-term relationships with our customers.
Matex customers come from all industry sectors at home and abroad, primarily medium-sized and large companies who want to strengthen their image and brand.
We work closely with a range of vendors nationally and internationally, which ensures us high quality products and a wide range of approx. 50,000 items. We have also gone one step further and commission the production of our own products from our vendors in Asia. This means we can give our customers every opportunity to come to us with their own designs and product ideas, to help them stand out from the crown in the most cost-effective way.
Matex is now owned by Mads Pedersen, the 2nd generation of Pedersens in the business.
